A Cat Reliquary consisting of an etched through and patinaed removable lid. The body consists of deeply etched copper with a heat produced red patina. The cat elements are etched copper clad fine silver with black patina. The box is assembled with miniature brass screws and nuts.

I am an etching Junkie who is interested in using etched through layers to convey an atmosphere of ordinary quiet. I am mainly a self taught maker. My inspiration has been primarily from Japanese art and looking, looking and looking at everything as source for visual language. I develop ideas with the use of a copy machine, micron pens, an X-Acto knife and scissors.
